When are the meetings?
We meet on the first Thursday of every month at 7:00pm, unless preempted by school closings or holidays. Changes to the meeting schedule will be announced on our mailing list, the site homepage, our Twitter account, and in a Facebook event invite.
What do you do at the meetings?
Our general meetings tend to be open discussions with current Apple news, product/application demos, and presentations. An informal “Board Meeting” dinner at a local Denny’s follows the general meeting and all are welcome.
I’m a new Mac user and don’t know very much. Will I feel out of place at the meeting?
All of us started with very little knowledge about the Mac. By definition, a user group is users helping other users, and SLMUG supports that spirit. Remember, the only dumb question is the one you don’t ask.
Do I have to join at my first meeting?
No, you are welcome to visit our meetings twice before you are asked to join.
How do I join?

What are the benefits of membership?
Membership includes access to all SLMUG meetings and events, as well as access to the SLMUG mailing list.
What are the membership dues?
Dues are $20.00 per year, prorated if you join after the first meeting of the year. This membership also includes everyone in your immediate family.
